Newcastle v Derby

Everyone seems to be pessimistic, anyone think we'll win?

I get the feeling people are predicting we'll lose as some sort of superstitious ritual that ensures we win, if you get what I'm saying.

I say 0-0, as usual.

4-0 to us.

Robert, Bellamy, Shearer & Bellamy again.

I never get these right.

If they come to win, they'll lose and if thet come to keep it to a draw, they'll win 1-0. I don't feel good about any of the upcoming fixtures, actually, Derby, Ipswich (who frankly pasted Inter tonight) or Charlton.

My gut feeling is we'll win against Derby. Having said that, we also have the habit of losing to the teams we should beat, so I'm not terribly hopeful. CAn't see myself getting hopeful until we get a consistent winning streak going. Or until after our next win. ;-)

Oh ye of little faith. I've already sorted this. There is no London jinx. There is no prediction jinx.

Take my word for it, Derby won't get a look in.

I'm expecting a great result and a fine performance. I love it when 'lesser' teams come here. However, last season we lost games at home we should have won and we've lost two games already this year. This isn't good enough and I feel the players know it.
We'll get it right the morra.

Normally id expect to hammer them, but theyve just been trounced 5-1 by boro and theyll have something to prove.

1-2 to them . (im always wrong , so thats my reverse physcology)

By and large, we were truly horrible at home last season. However, this season we have lost at home to a very strong and talented, if not pretty, Liverpool team, and to a decent Spurs team. The latter result imo was massively influenced by our Managers tactical brain- storm, and his complete failure to take his players along with it.

I see no reason why we shouldn't get a result against Derby, and in many respects this is a test of how much progress we have really made.
