Thoughts from the old hillbilly from IL. [preachin]

Cornbread dressing! That's what Lil Dumplin is buildin right now. She's an ex-Texan ya'll know! We'll go to Mom's house to eat the noon-ish meal rekon. There will be plenty of Turk, ham and ALL the other things that goes with it. Somebody said about 30 family members will be there. I don't know where they will all locate themselves in her smallish house but suppose we'll find a place to set and eat.

Weather today is just beautiful. Sun shining, light breeze eventho it's kinda chilly. It doesn't matter any as our thoughts and prayers are to the Father for all the kindness and good things He's allowed us to enjoy. Personally, I'm most recently thankful for the healing of my old body of cancer and diabetes. I'm slso very thankful I think for Lil Dumplins physical healing too. Hers was not life threatning but still was an attack from satanic forces that affected her happiness and well being.

What do YOU have to be thankful for? Whilst settin down a think'n about that might as well get comfortable---ya'lls gonna be there awhile!! In the Word it says to "be thankful in ALL things". Almighty God is STILL in control and in Him I will put my trust. He gets ALL the Honor, Praise and Glory!

Ya'll have a real blessed day, go ahead and over eat if'n ya'll wanna-He understands and KNOWS how we humans are! He also forgives sin! Please remember those little dudes and dudettes that are hungry--even in America. Might send a 5 spot to "Feed the Children, Box 36, Ok City, OK." A five dollar a month donation will feed one child for a week-how about sending enough to feed a child for a month? $20 a month is not very much but will accomplish dramatic results.

God Bless ya'll and may your life remain productive and happy. To Him goes all the honor, praise and glory! old hoot. Matt.24:44

Well, what i'm thankful for..... hmmm. Yesterday was probably one of my more tired days in a long time. I am taking on so many projects in school, and i have about six people whos life i am part of largely, for dealing with problems and what not. After school i came home to talk with my parents about my time limit on the computer etc. When we were done discussing that, i pretty much emptied all my worries about these people i care about, and my worries about school. Fighting tears and all. SO i retreated to my room, where i had a good ol cry, and prayed. I am thankful God has given me a heart to help others, and i am thankful He will carry my burdens and be my strength. Sometimes, i just get so caught up in whats going on, I forget to say , Lord, i need you strength to get through today, I need you wisdom to say what is right and to give good counsel , BUT HE DOES give that, and He does promise to keep us. I'm so thankful for friends that i have, and my family who encourages me to grow. We should always be greatful, in our weakness, Gods strength is made perfect.

I have so much to be thankful that I hardly know where to start! I have my health. I can walk. I can see. I can hear! I can think clearly. I have a loving husband and a solid marriage. My home is warm and we have enough to eat. My family is all healthy and loving. I live in a community that is caring and friendly. I have the Lord in my life. My nation is free and strong.

There are many people in the world tonight that cannot say some of those statements. Think about how much we take for granted! God bless
