How was the anniversary?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

It was great! Monica's is the coolest. And we got to sit on the salsa band stage (no band last night), because we are rock stars. I had a hundred margaritas. Vince Chao had eighty-nine.

Al, why didn't you tell me the queso is from God? Because it is. It is Holy Queso.

Hello? L_L? Is this thing on?

Check! Mike check! Check one, two.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Did you watch Buffy?

Can you believe that? Whew.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Oh, I'm so glad you went to Monica's. Ahhhh, the queso. And the margaritas. Damn. I miss Dallas!?!?! How is that possible?

Did anybody read my update? Did it make sense?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Did you send a notify?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

I read it. Makes sense. But on chris's it says "none" and it should be "known"

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

That's why I didn't send a notify and I haven't put it on DHAK yet. I knew there were mistakes, but I didn't have time to actually edit it last night, and Chris wanted me to put it up.

God I'm bored. Everyone's out today. No email banter.

When do you leave for Birmingham?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Wah!

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Poor H.

We get to leave at 2 today! Yay! So that means I've worked, what, six whole hours this week?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Ha. I just read the thanksgiving story. But I had to skim the mom section. Too much.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Lord. What a totally boring day.

I just met with a print shop guy who won't give me anything for free. I was like "Look, I am the queen of donations. This is a non- profit, which means we don't have any money. I want to give you all our business, but you've got to hook me up with some kind of good deal."

He was afraid of me.

We're going to B'ham tonight. Today is my parents' wedding anniversary. 32 years. It's sad. Poor Mother. She misses him.

Haaaaaaa!

I just noticed that WG has pulled the biggest WG ever! Chris makes fun of her for being all "I just went and saw this little subtitled art film made in Sweeden that no one else but the director has ever seen and blah blah..."

And now she's gone and started a thread just like that! Hilarious.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

I know and in her notify list she was like, there's no way you'd be able to see it, but if you can you should! So WHY would she start a thread? Don't get it.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Aw, Al. Oddly enough, today is my parents' wedding anniversary, too.

Gah, WriterGirl. Poor lost soul.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Anyone still here?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Oh, I am. Bored as all get out.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

I wish I could just take the day off and see the Iranian film with the French subtitles playing at that small Swedish theatre in Southeast.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Ha!

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Berman is funny. Can that be the opening sentence of your next entry, please?

I'm out, babies. Y'all have excellent holidays. Rove!

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Ha! Y'all are assuming I'll update again. What's with my lack of inspiration?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

I know not. But it has almost been a full month. What about thanksgiving talk?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

I don't know.

The NaNoWriMo is taking up a ton of energy, even though I've entered the Realm of the Way Behind.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

At least you're still doing it.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Barely.

And my 10-year reunion is Friday night. Urgh. Why am I going to that again?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Where are you going for Thanksgiving? Your parents or Sima's?

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Oh, my parents, even though we have a smaller than usual gathering this year because my brother and my cousin are both at their respective in-laws.

Her dinner is earlier than mine, so it's possible that we'll work something out where I stop by early and then jet to my mom and dad's, but the logistics are a problem, so that might not work. Besides, her mom and dad don't actually host -- they go to their aunt and uncle's fot Thanksgiving.

-- Anonymous, November 21, 2001

Well, now that I've read the ENTIRE internet, I think I'm off.

Happy Thanksgiving!
