I'm back!

Whew! It was a beautiful drive to Virginia, but awfully, awfully long.I got back a couple of hours ago and the chemtrails were all over Texas just to say "Howdy" to me I reckon! The trip was uneventful for the most part, but I am still soooo excited that i got to stop and visit Monticello on the way back!

The gardens are being kept in production, and the place is just astoundingly beautiful. We couldn't take the time to do the tour of the house but walked all over the grounds and I was able to inspect the dirt and many of the trees. The most amazing poplar is right next to the house. It has to be 14' in diameter. HUGE!!!!

I would love to visit there in the spring as there are flower beds everywhere and many varieties of flowering trees. I did buy some books at the gift shop and have a ton of stuff to read now!

If anyone gets the chance, I highly recommend visiting Monticello. The homes of Madison and Monroe are nearby as well. i'm a little brain dead or I would expound upon it a bit more...it was GREAAAATTTTT!!!!!

Well Doreen, welcome back. I had no idea that you were driving quite THAT far!!! I hope when you "recover" you will expound more about the grounds etc. I have always wanted to visit there.

What is a chemtrail?

Welcome back Doreen, you were missed!

bill, do you know about the archives?? Go back to the opening page and down at the bottom it shows a list of categories of past threads. Under the government heading about half way down on the list is a thread that says chemtrail? ..........it gives a lot of discussion about them there.

Doreen, just about how far was that little drive of yours? I can't go more than about 500miles from here without driving into the water.

Welcome back, Doreen. The trip sounds wonderful. I didn't realize they were still doing the chemtrails--haven't seen them since the move. Were you back in Central Texas when you saw them? Do they still do them often?

Sounds like a great trip, Doreen. Welcome home! We have been getting hammered with chemtrails off and on for over a week now. I've never seen so many in the sky at one time. Really makes me wonder what's going on.

Thanks guys!

The drive was right around 1400 miles one way. Now I get to go and do about 8oo tomorrow morning!! This will be fun all the way tho'.

There were some chemtrails in Mississippi, none in Louisiana, then when we got to Henderson Texas they started in pretty thick. I don't know what the point is as it isn't really heavily populated, or anything. Really strange, but I was just driving along watching two jets lay them down. It seems like about every 6-10 days I see them here. Once in awhile there are two or three days in a row, but usually not.

I'll write some more about monticello as soon as I have time to collect my thoughts. They do have a website if you want to look at that. It's www.monticello.org . It's nice to be home albeit briefly!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!

1400 miles Doreen, I don't think I have driven that far since we toured Australia in 1988.

My work collegue and I are just back from a little journey too. We did a short job in Prague (Czech Republic) 3 weeks, which is a great place to visit. Our journey each way was about 40 hours door to door with only minor inconveniences from the increased airport security measures, our route was Wellington-Auckland (1:15mins), Auckland-Los Angeles (about 12 hours), Los Angeles -Frankfurt (11 hours or more), Frankfurt-Prague. As you can see there were many hours spent in airport lounges! The return route was Prague, Frankfurt, Singapore, Auckland, Wellington. I took careful note of the inflight route display and noted that we flew just south of Afghanistan. The return route was a few hours shorter and much less tiring than flying westwards, at least in my opinion.

I hope you are not seriously concerned about those 'chemtrails'.

We had no "chemtrails", not contrails, for a week or so after 911. Then we had "regular" contrails for a while, which I haven't seen for years.

Now we're back to the "chemtrails". I think what's happening is that the stratosphere had cleaned itself up from excess air traffic; thus, there was less water vapor and other exhaust products, so the planes' exhaust didn't condense for a while, until we started packing in the flights again.

To believe that these "chemtrails" are some sinsiter plot requires a great act of faith, imho.
