LIMBAUGH - Bubba blather

On my radio program back in the days before Election 2000 or the post-election lawsuits brought on by Algore, I made a prediction: No matter who wins, Bill Clinton will make history as the first president to comment on his successor extensively and often. Well, the terrorist attack of September 11th derailed Clinton's plans to attack Bush, but he's still talking, telling anyone who'll listen that he came this close to getting bin Laden, and lecturing America on it being our fault that these attacks happened.

The Democrats themselves know that they have to keep their partisanship behind closed bedroom doors, behind closed curtains, wherever Clinton is. It's really frustrating to him, because he was fully expecting to be able to command the spotlight, and he can't now. But he's trying to elbow his way into our consciousness - which is why we call these stories C.A.C. - Can't Avoid Clinton. He's doing so by getting in on it with what his speeches are doing.

Maybe he's still angling for a Nobel Peace Prize, maybe this is his way of getting noticed. That is fundamentally important to him, no question about it. In fact, in his speech Monday at Harvard, he alleged that he prevented terrorism in the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels in New York. It's amazing! He just doesn't understand what's going on here, and he's so quick to blame us for this, and ask us to "understand" those who hate us and show muslim nations "we care." Mr. President, we understand them just fine. How about going and telling them they need to understand us, and show us they care?

I don't agree with Rush on many things (e.g. the environment) but he is excellent on at least two topics: (1) How political correctness eats it, and (2) Clinton's worthlessness.

I don't understand the topic title. Does the "blather" refer to Clinton's blather, or do you mean to say Rush is blathering?

For what it's worth.....I agree with Rush completely, and the nicest term I could use to describe what comes out of Clinton's mouth is "blather"!

Ladybug, Rush and others refer to Clinton as "Bubba", so it's Clinton blather.

It's Rush's title, so it refers to Clinton.
