Hi friends: I have a question. Last May, I had my 5 year-old Standard Poodle neutered. Although we soon began a regimen of increased exercise (he accompanies me on 3-8 mile runs 4 times a week, in additional to his regular morning and afternoon walks), he started to put on weight. He had always eaten Pedigree dog food and done very well, but since he was gaining weight I decided to put him on a premium low calorie food and have been giving him Nutro Max for overweight dogs. In the past few days he has started to seem very lethargic. Could the food be the reason? He doesn't seem to be sick (no fever, clear eyes, and willing to play if I instigate), just low-energy. Can you recommend a food that will help trim his weight without reducing his vitality? Thanks. Corinne
