Sorry you're home sick on your anniversary. Is this a Chaoeversary?

I was all rushing around this morning to get to a doctor's appointment, except for, what had happened was, the doctor's appointment is tomorrow morning.

I guess it is a Chaoeversary!

Al, do you have any good dinner recommendations? I was thinking Sambuca, but I don't know if they have the band on Tuesday nights.

Nevermind. It seems to be gone now.

That was weird.

Response to Monday, November 20, 2001

Maybe you accidentally go to MATH forum or something. That is weird.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

That's what I thougth too, but it said math plus one, and then it had the mathplusone@yahoo.com email to contact for the password.

I got into the admin page and the password field was blank, so I don't know. Maybe I just crazy.

So, AB - how was it?

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Oh, it was great. Al and Chris are the best hosts evah. And pamie and I had many non-drunken bonding moments, so that was nice.

I'm writing my entry about the heist right now.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

The heist?

My weekend of the endless showers was interminable.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Endless showers?

The forum is getting more popular. There seem to be a lot of new posters, which is right cool.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

On Saturday, Chris and I helped out with a road race at 7 a.m. I had a baby shower at one, and then ran neglected errands until six. Sunday, I was at my office from 8 to noon, and then went to a wedding shower at 1, and a baby shower at 3. Then I made dinner for the first time in weeks and cleaned my very neglected house.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

oh right, those kind of showers. I thought you were just being all ocd and washing yourself all weekend.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Wha? Alright there, Drinky McFootballfan.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Hee. Shut-up.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I hate it when I get L_Led before lunch.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I wish I could've seen Al's face when y'all tricked her. Y'all are gooood.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Oh, it was so good. Al know nothing! She trick all over place!

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

This day is slowness.

What are y'all doing?

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

BOO!

Oh, I was so tricked. Even after the MOC nearly ruined it, which I will post about tonight - I still didn't catch on.

So much for my big, huge brain.

I'm still tired. Slept in guest room last night, because I took a 2 hour nap after work, and then drank a Diet Coke during dinner, and then couldn't sleep when I went to bed. Chris is all kicking me and turning over every five seconds and I couldn't take it.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I want stories! Was there much coke and stoli drinking? Was there guitar playing?

How did you explain it all to Chris A. as he is blissfully unaware of the journalling world?

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Oh, there was a lot of Stoli Vanil. There is still a lot in my veins.

There are less stories than there should be because of my medical emergency. But we had big fun. It was really great.

I think AB drunkenly fell asleep in the bathroom of Fox and Hounds at one point. That shit is hilarious.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I did. I almost fell asleep. Pamie and Chris were about to put out an APB.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

AB - what are your plans for tonight?

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I don't know yet--we're going to eat somewhere, and that's all we've really planned for now. It will be good, though!

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Will Joey watch Mad?

Someone took photos this weekend, right?

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Joey Chao will, indeed, watch Mad.

I'm looking right now at possible places.

And pictures were taken, oh yes.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

There were a few photos, yes.

AB, I don't know what to suggest to you for dinner tonight. Hey - have you ever been to Monica's Aca Y Ala in Deep Ellum? I can't remember which street. Monica's is the best. Monica herself used to be named Eduardo. Ahem. Yes. The place is very popular. In her ads, there's this picture of Monica in black and white - very tasteful - and the copy reads "I may not be the most beautiful woman, and I may sound like Ricky Ricardo on the telephone, but I sure can cook."

They have great food, and sometimes a great salsa band, and the place is sort of fancy and not too expensive. Extremely good margaritas. If you order "Monica's favorite," which I always do, she'll bring it out herself, if she's there.

Also, there's always The Mansion (a million dollars) or The Melrose (slightly less than a million). Nobody ever loved me enough to take me to The Mansion, people. Also, Star Canyon on Cedar Springs - very good.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Ooh, Al. Monica's sound good. I looked it up--it's on Main. And their menu is half-price on Tuesday nights? Crazy!

I call Vince Chao right now!

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

We ate at Star Canyon in Vegas! I want to go back there next week and eat a tamale pie. 10 of them.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

We ate at Star Canyon in Vegas. It's really good. But I vote for Monica's.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

I wish I could go to Monica's - it sounds so wonderful.

Y'all, I think we have our first forum spaz, and her name is ev.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Oh, she's actually really nice. She reads me and she's Scottish I think. Or British. One of those.

Nice, but yes, I guess she's a little spazzy. She sent me this long rambly email with photos of her dog. But I thought it was sweet.

And totally uncreepy, unlike the guy who said he's a model/actor in Miami Beach and he wishes I had more pictures of me on my site. I was like, MORE? You didn't look around much.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Maybe it's her punctuation that makes me think she's a little spazzy. She's certainly not a freak - Meloonsa fits that bill just fine.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Y'all, I really can't stand Katie of digink.net. I don't understand why EVERYone links to her. She's not funny and more often than not crude beyond crude.

Sorry, had to vent.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Yeah, ev is sort of a spaz, but nice. I guess she's nice, anyway.

She's written me a few times. She has like, 10 journals and web logs and updates them all with the same information, I think. She linked to me from every one of them when Bill Lowe died.

She might be crazy.

AB, I hope you go to Monica's. It's so delicious. I loved going there. Also, it's right next door to this crazy store called "Cool Stuff," which may not even be open anymore, but I once bought Sonya a genuine mariacha sombrera there.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

The think I don't get about that Katie girl is that in her cast section, she has in-depth descriptions and photos of the most random people who ever crossed her path. So odd.

-- Anonymous, November 20, 2001

Oh really? I've never looked. I just don't understand people who blatently talk about how much sex they get (or don't get). It's like, um, okay.

For an example, see It's Kat's current entry: gigglebox.diaryland.com

Then again she's DUMB, so why do I wonder?
