We haven't made an offer for Dunn

And they call this news?

From Soccernet

Blackburn Rovers have denied speculation that Newcastle are poised to make an £8million bid for England Under-21 midfielder David Dunn. Dunn has been a key figure for the Lancashire club in their solid return to the Premiership this season, and has been tipped to receive full England honours. He has been watched by England boss Sven Goran Eriksson, who saw him grab two goals as Rovers drew 3-3 at Arsenal. But Ewood Park chief executive John Williams insists that no offer for the player has been received, and that any bid would be rejected. Rovers currently lie ninth in the Premiership, and drew 1-1 against boss Graeme Souness' former club Liverpool at the weekend.

I think we can forget about Dunn and rather look at other alternatives, ex. Emerton, Holland, Kinsella etc.

Sorry but Kisella and Holland dont cut the mustard. Id sign Dunn but we hav'nt got any money.

I actually think we would find the money for a good CMF. More to the point, I doubt whether BRFC would let Dunn go. Maybe Feyenoord will let Emerton go, tho as I've said in discussions re Nobby, is it really wise buying a player who will likely have a lot of travel for internationals??

How do you know we don't have any money? All he signs are that we have........links with Dunn, Emerton and an alleged sounding out of the Scholes situation.

I fully expect a new MF by the end of the year.

Holland or Dunn. They are both pretty good, Dunn is having a particularly good run at the moment but they are fairly equal overall.

Holland will be cheaper to buy as well, especially as Ipswich are struggling (and we have his mate Dyer here)
