Today, November 18, we members of the Catholic Church family celebrate the feast of the dedication of the Roman basilicas of Peter and Paul.
We also honor, in a special way, the following friends of God -- saints whose souls are now in heaven:

Bl. John Xoun and Bl. Leonard Kimura (Japanese, [John] lay member of Confraternity of the Holy Rosary ... [Leonard] Jesuit brother, catechist, cook, and tailor ... martyred by roasting over slow fire before 20,000 witnesses in 1619)
St. Odo of Cluny (French, nobleman, Benedictine abbot, reformer of monasteries, religious author, champion of the poor, d. 942)
St. Guilminus (French, Benedictine monk, c. 1065)
St. Hesychius of Antioch (Roman, soldier, martyred by drowning c. 303)
St. Keverne (Irish, c. 530)
St. Mummolus [Momble] (French, abbot, c. 690)

If you have anything to share about these holy people, please reply now -- biographical episodes, prayers through their intercession, the fact that one is your patron saint -- whatever moves you. If you are interested in one of these saints and want to find out more about him/her, please ask. Information is sometimes available on the Internet.

All you holy men and women, saints of God, pray for us.
God bless you.
John
