An easy one for the weekend: What difference from other babies do babies born in May have?

Answers

May birthdays.

Agreed Rose, but there is more to it than that.

My huuby was born in May so I'll have to think about this one. He was his Mom's Mother's Day gift!

-- Jo (mamamia2kids@msn.com), November 17, 2001.

And I a wife and son born in May. They're born in the shortest month, by spelling? If this is easy, spare the hard ones. These stumpers make me feel such a dunce!

-- Randal (randal@rhyme.cjb.net), November 17, 2001.

They weigh more on average than babies born in other months??? Just guessing... no real reason why I think this.

A gold star for Fearless Leader as Melissa whacks one, May babies average 7 ounces more than those born in other months.

New question: What Earth critters would not survive an extended space voyage until we develope better tech info?

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), November 17, 2001.

NO WAY!!! I can't believe it, I really just guessed!!! My kids are going to be so proud. They think Mitch is the smartest man on the internet, and for me to actually get one right should give me great stature in their eyes. Keep it up Mitch!!!

Earthworms and or people?

-- Cindy (S.E.IN) (atilrthehony@countrylife.net), November 17, 2001.

I was going to say earthworms, also.

-- Cathy N. (keeper8@attcanada.ca), November 17, 2001.

How 'bout Fish?-just a guess.

I just walked in, my van died side o the road, sundown hint, these critters use gravity to swallow.

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), November 17, 2001.

Mitch, not an answer to the puzzle, but I'm sorry about your van... Hope you are OK, and it can be fixed.

I just realized that my son was born in May, and he was the heaviest of my children, but I didn't even think of it at the time...

Birds..except for Doves..(using gravity to swallow)

-- lesley (martchas@bellsouth.net), November 17, 2001.

The first thing i thought of was bats, but i'm not sure. Other than that , maybe a possum. Hey how about a giraffe?

-- jillian (daffodil_skunk83@hotmail.com), November 17, 2001.

Lesley gets a gold star, yes it is birds.

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), November 19, 2001.

That why they tip their beaks up when the swallow? (They do that, don't they?)

-- Randal (randal@rhyme.cjb.net), November 19, 2001.

Oh goodie, my first gold star in about 45 years!!!!! Doves, to my knowledge, are the only birds who do not fill their beaks and then lift their heads up to swallow..that is one of the reasons hawks whack them at birdbaths..they have their heads down and are not paying attention.
