I'll be groggy but wide eyed out in my yard at 5:00 a.m. Eastern.

Hoping for clear skies.

Thanks so much for reminding us. I saw this in the NY TImes but had forgotten! Now I'll sleep in tomorrow so I'm well rested for Sunday am.

"It is expected to peak during a half-hour shortly after 5 a.m. EST Sunday on the East Coast, 2 a.m. PST on the West Coast. Most of us know meteors as shooting stars, streaks of white light. The most optimistic prediction for North America is for 70 a minute, or 4,200 in an hour."

Peak time is supposed to be 5:00 a.m. Eastern time, therefore that is

4:00 a.m. Central
3:00 a.m. Mountain
2:00 a.m. Pacific
12:00 midnight in Hawaii

Sorry, Alaskans, I don't know about your time -- maybe 1:00 a.m.?

Boy, it sure is foggy in the hills of eastern KY this AM-hope it's clear tomorrow AM. The kids and I (maybe my dear wife?!?) plan on a bonfire and generally fun time. With this type of fog, we'd be sure to ge "whited out"
