Hello and good morning. Anyone around?

Y'all. I sat next to the creepiest guy on the plane last night. Creepy. He asked me creepy questions, like "Do you ever wear your hair down?" Creepy. Long fingernails, too.

Oh creepy. Glad you're back safe.

Did you see AB last night??

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Oh and I woke up at 930 this a.m. I'm supposed to be hear between 830-9.

I did see AB! Very exciting. I didn't stick around the airport long, though, as I was so, so tired and suit-wearing and wanting a shower because of the creepy guy. And Chris made a little dinner.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so STUPID!!!

They got me SO GOOD.

If y'all could only have seen the crazy nervous MOC and AB in action together, trying to scam me. I swear to God, no words would do it justice. I have never laughed so hard as I did at Chris Huff last night and his strange ways. The man just cannot lie, at all, and he pulled off the scheme of the century. Well, he pulled it off under threat of a beat down from AB and Pam if he screwed it up.

I know! We were all so impressed!

Did you flip?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Hello? Is this thing on?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

It is 11:40 and I have not done a bit of work. I really should get cracking.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

HAAAAAH!

Oh, y'all. It was brilliant. Just brilliant. I think this is the best heist I've ever pulled off. (Of all the heists I've loved before...)

Pam is still asleep. I made good coffee. Al, call us in a little while about lunch.

And T is so cute I want to carry her around in my pock

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

...et. Pocket. I'm sorry, T, but I do not wish to carry you around in my pock.

AB, you're so sweet - I think I'll wear my hair down, just for you.

Yay! Lunch soon! Chris and I are gearing up for tonight. I don't think he has any idea what to expect, y'all. But then, neither do I. All I know is that the liquor store is right across the street.

Oh, and I asked my Chris what he thought he'd be like when we're old, he said, "I'll sit on the porch with my gun in my lap and I'll throw rocks at people and say, 'Get offa my land, communists! In this country, we're allowed to own property!' And then you will tell me to hush my fricka-fracking, so I'll be quiet and eat pecan pie. On the porch. With my gun." Sweet Chris.

Greenspun is being odd. Hmm.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

What's wrong with it?

Are y'all all at lunch?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

I'm supposed to be hear between 830-9.

Lord. I just saw this. I'm dumb.

Speaking of DUMB, I'm sure Rudergirl would flip a lid to know that pam was in ATL. Stay outta Smyrna. (So no going to T's house, I guess.)

Oh, boo.

L_Led again.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Oh! They just closed Hartsfield.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

What?? Why?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

I just called your cell phone. Go to cnn.com. I guess a guy ran through security adn they didn't catch him so they stopped all outbound flights and are making everyone go through security again.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

My heavens. Thank God none of us were flying in today.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

I know. Did you get my message?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Yep. That's the strangest thing. I just responded in the Travel in America thread, also.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

About the lady with "esp." Weirdo.

Lord am I bored.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

My poor boss was almost to the airport when the news came. He's now driving to South Carolina.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Oh, ack. But really, he'll get there faster, right?

So, they're evacuating and making people go through security again, right?

What I don't get is, how does someone RUN through and not get chased and caught?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Because the security at Hartsfield sucks. I can just imagine them questioning the security guards who were on duty at the time - "Well, what I had did was, I had called Rico to take a look at the conveyer belt, and then this woman was all, 'Daym, why I got to turn my laptop on for you?' and I was all, 'Lady, you gots to because I said so, now turn on the laptop, ho!' And then this white cracker guy came running through and I was like, 'Daym, he broke my nail!'"

Seriously, that is a generous account of the people who work security at Hartsfield. It is a joke.

Although, I don't see how the National Guard guys didn't get him. I mean, you have to run past them to get anywhere in past the security checkpoint, and then they say the guy ran down the up escalator? You'd think that whoever was chasing him would run down the down escalator and catch the guy before he made it to the bottom. The whole thing makes no sense to me.

I know. It's crazy. Is there more info online?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Nope. You'd think that CNN would have more info since they're here in Atlanta, but they don't.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

I'm boooooooooored.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

CNN is really sucking up the internet with its lack of updates.

I'm exhausted. I have so much to do at work, and I've accomplished nothing. Nothing! And I have so many things that need to get done before I leave. I'll probably be in over the weekend, but I also have to go to two baby showers and a wedding shower. Ugh.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Who are the showers for?

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

Baby showers for Liz and Chris' friend Bob's wife, Holly. A wedding shower for Jody Johnson and Matt Johansen, which will always crack me up. Johnson-Johansen. She'll be all ethnic.

-- Anonymous, November 16, 2001

I hope you guys all have a fun weekend!
