Well---another very unimportant post. [Thanks Melissa for askin about this old hillbilly]

Mr half growed possum was foolin around on the back porch last nite. I'd laid a couple garbage sacks ontop of a upright deepfreezer and he found'm. Ole Calvin just set and watch'm as he decimated those sacks. Now I've gotta do what I neglected to do yesterday---dispose of that blasted trash thats scattered all over my back porch and yard. I had my walkin stick [a new rake handle] leanin up against the back porch railing--used it to kinda poke'm out of that sack. Well anyhow, after a day like yesterday that was nuthin to scream about.

We took the "dolly trolly" to Maddie 'big gurl' and promptly brought it home. The wheels are too small. I'll replace'm with some taller ones next week, rekon. Fix'd the tire on our van, decided to install brake pads on the front. Shot at and missed Mr Groundhog---about 50 feet away. When the day was finally done---went to bed at 9 pm--totally exhausted!

Quick update on medical---Pre-surgery tests conclude stuff. Dr won't cut until heart dr clears me. EKG problems I guess. That's ok I guess--ain't gonna have to cut anyhow but need it for another procedure to confirm healing. Well anyhow---that's nuff on that subject.

Today? I dunno--may mosey over and see ole jeep and griz. Ain't been over there in a week or so. Lil Dumplin is back to work today finally after her bus [xray table was broken] was fixed last evening.

Glad to hear from you Hoot, I just wanted to make sure you were OK. Sometimes I feel like a mother hen, clucking around checking on all of you!! If I don't see someone posting, I start wondering if everything is OK!! Cale teases me and says it is like I have 2 families now, and my kids know you all by name!!!

Good Morning Hoot, Well it is Saturday morning and I here at the big power plant. Just got finished fixing some biscuits for the shift. I drowned mine in syrup. Only thing I did not have was a tall glass of MILK!!! Glad to see you are back, alive and well. Keep on preaching and sending those stories. Later.
