Does anyone know of any photography workshops particularly designed for Leica photographers? I would like to take such a workshop since I have not attended any workshops with the particular emphasis on Leica style and equipment.I understand there are programs in Solms, Germany but I am thinking of participating in something here in the states, if at all possible. Thank you experts.

Find a workshop that David Allen Harvey is teaching. It could almost be guarenteed that he will use nothing but a leica.

This is one Leica Seminar that is highly recommended by people who use their Leicas. Ted is a great guy and his book, "This is Our Work", is stunning.

John, just a note: if you do find something you'd like to take part in, book now, because if these things (like in Boston or wherever) are wanted as much as they are here in Wetzlar (near Solms), they are often booked up sooner than you'd like.

This past summer, Ralph Gibson held two 3-day Leica Workshops, in conjunction with Leica USA, in NYC, that were widely publicized through Popular Photography. There will also be a couple of workshops in Paris this spring. Contact Leica USA for further information. I know they'd appreicate hearing from Leica shooters that want more Leica workshops. Ralph Gibson is not only an amazing photographer, but a gifted and generous teacher.
