Grand United health rebates

greenspun.com : LUSENET : AMTNSW : One Thread

Hello all, I have recently seen an advertisement from Grand United Health Fund advertising rebates on natural therapies, including remedial massage. Does anyone know anything more - ie can ATM members publicise this fact?, and if so, at what level does one need to be? Regards, Fiona

Hi Fiona - from the last Newsletter (pages 10 and 11) Grand United accepts Senior Level 1,2,3 members with one million dollars current insurance and current First Aid. Further, you can sign up with them when your first client sends in a claim and Grand United will send you forms to fill in and sign. If you are an AMT member (as I know you are) and you are working within the Continuing Education Units system (CEU) your name will then be maintained on our list that we issue to the Health Funds every quarter. In other words, after you sign your name AMT will make sure that your name continues to be current with the health fund. If you are not in the CEU system you are on your own and will need to negotiate with the health fund (and all the others) by yourself.
