Isn't Fuji Superia 800 the same film as Fuji Press 800 film?

Is Fuji Superia 800 film (the one they sell 4 pack at Ritz Camera here) the same film as the Fuji Press 800 film (the one that Midcity Camera sells 20 packs for)? They both feature the 4th layer color technology (which provides better and less flat rendering than Kodak does) and I suspect that it's just a marketing ploy, one geared to amateurs and the other professionals?

Or they are different films inherently and I just conjectured totally wrong on this one?

The question was asked and answered on another list within the past day or so. They are the same film, though I'd call it a marketing convenience rather than a ploy. But calling the same film by different names for different packages is certainly confusing. At any rate, both films are reported to carry the same edge coding; you can read it on the developed negative strip. I've barely recovered from the leap in Tri-X speed to 400 and can't get my head around 800 film yet.

I've used both and cannot tell a difference between the two imagewise. The only difference I can see is that Press 800 is available in 36x rolls. Superia 800 is only available in 24x rolls through the mass market stores.
