Quinn on his way ?

Newcastle wingback Wayne Quinn has been linked with a move to first division side Preston.

Preston manager David Moyes watched Quinn during a recent reserves match and was seen talking to the player after the match.

Quinn has been unable to break into the first eleven this season with players such as Laurent Robert and Robbie Elliott ahead of him in pecking order.

I wouldnt cry a lot if he goes. Bernard is clerly better in the position and Quinn will probably have better luck as a Div 1 player.

Totally agree Sudden. Right now we have decent cover on the left side. Should both Elliot and Bernard get injured, we can use our versatile players (Hughes, O'Brien)in that position. As a winger he is useless.

Yeah I wouldn't miss him, but wasn't he the bloke recently quoted as saying that he would be staying to fight for his place ?

Hmmmm, any connection with YBR going down to the dugout and subbing him last night?

After 14 mins??? Unless of course Moyes turned up late, saw him playing and said "WTF is he doing out there?" Pretty much the same as Clarky, Pilgrim and I said ;-)

PS. I refuse to stoop so low and repeat the Rodney Marsh joke about halftime oranges.
