On the same "note", what is your favorite hymn? I have two and I really can't pick between "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". I know, I know, I said FAVORITE, but how could I choose?? God bless!

Ardie, when I read the title I immediately thought of those two, then I read your post. Another favourite is Shine, Jesus Shine, or Hark the Herald Angels sing.

First and foremost would be "Amazing Grace", second would be "Because He Lives". I come close to tears everytime I hear either one and I cannot help but sing along with them!

"How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross" have to be my favorites and I can hardly sing or hear them without bawling. But, I feel that is the Spirit, comforting me and reminding me just how great a God we serve. Praise the Lord!!

"It is Well With my Soul" has always topped the list, and "Amazing Grace" was played at my Daddy's funeral. "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" is one I didn't notice posted already, and "Fairest Lord Jesus" -- A lot of people I know have described it as melancholy, but to me is is a reminder that there is nothing here, no matter how beautiful, even the faces of our own children and spouses, that can equal His face and love.

Amazing Grace, Lamb of God and the Old Rugged Cross.

-- Kathy (jubilant@ncweb.com), November 12, 2001.

At our church and fellowship eve meeting, we sing mostly scripture set to music--really a good way to memorize scripture! These are my favorites. Next would probably be almost anything Kenneth Copeland sings, especially I HAVE RETURNED.
