Can it be done and if so what do I need to do it?

I can burn data CDs but have no CD Video software assuming thats what I need.

All help gratfully received.

There is an excellent guide to making VCD slideshows at www.labdv.com. You will need a copy of Nero to burn with. You can get a demo copy of Nero at www.ahead.de. Nero can be used for free for 30 days as a trial version and its functionality is not impared during the trial period. Just to warn you, the main page on www.labdv.com loads very quickly, but once you choose to go to the English language section, you might as well go get a cup of coffee, go to the bathroom, etc. because you aren't going to see the English language pages any time soon. labDV is hosted on a free server and it is a very popular site, so the response times aren't real good. Once you finally get to the English language section, the response times are more reasonable or at least they were the last time I went there. www.vcdhelp.com has a very good DVD player compatibility list that you should check to see if your DVD player supports CD-R/RW media before you get started.
