Street Shots November 3rd

greenspun.com : LUSENET : People Photography : One Thread

This is my first posting to this site. But I do see some familiar "faces" from other forums. My main photographic interest is street photography. I live nearby to NY City but rarely get an opportunity to get in there to shoot. During a recent EXPO at the Javits Center I ventured out for a few hours near the Times Square area and took a few rolls. My first time here so curious what people think. PHOTOS

I think they're all fairly good, but none seems to draw me in very strongly. "Break" comes close, and a full-size print of "Plenty of Time" might do it.

Mike thanks for the look. I agree with your assesment that there are no ground breaking shots here although they are decent. My favorite and some concenses is that Plenty of Time is well liked but what is interesting that you like Break and that one is one of the least favored. I like the phone booths and that one is also one of the least favored.

Welcome to THE forum!

My 'people pics' standards are not as high as Mike's so I give your pics a big 'thumbs up'

Some 'only in America' moments there (that Cowboy!)

Especially liked the ironical "No Dogs Allowed". Maybe that's cause whenever I see a sign 'no dogs allowed' I ask my wife to stay outside :)
