The other night, cleaning my summar lens i got for 50 bucks in the city, i had the slight mishap of letting the blades fall out. :)

anyone ever do that?

they took a while to get back in, with a lotta patience of course...i now know what leica repair people have to deal with...

its a great lens that had a bit of fungus which came right off. ive gotten very good results with it, and i wonder if anyone else uses old prewar lenses....? photo links of your pix would be fun too

I've just got a Summar (free with the camera) and I too am pleased with the results. I shall post/email some pix soon. A fun lens to use.
