How much of the 50mm viewfinder of the IIIf and IIIg does the 50mm f/1.2 Canon cover? I had one on my IIIf in 1982 but I can't remember if it cut out any of the 50mm frame.

Answers

It will cut out a large portion of the lower right hand corner of the viewfinder. If you use a shade (not a bad idea on this flair prone lens), you pretty much need an auxiliary finder.
