i scanned my photos then saved them in Word. They are now .doc in stead of .jpeg. Any one know how to convert them back?

Open your Word doc with the pictures in it. Select one, hit Copy, then go into a photo editing program like paint shop pro or photoshop. Paste and save as you like. Actually, PSP lets you just paste, but in Photoshop, you have to create a "New File" first, then paste and save. Good luck.
