As predicted by many on here, this Gang of 4 in Spain stuff is dragging on. Since Dyer's agents outburst, the papers are running the story along the lines of 'Dyer hung out to dry by club'. Mr Dyer is apparently 'furious' at his treatment and 'his future at NUFC is in doubt.' Also 'sources' say some players are angry that the foregin players (just Robert I think) were allowed home and they had to go away to Spain.

Bloody hell, an all expenses trip to Spain in work's time. Big shame that!

What a suprise eh? Didn't take the media long to get this spin going.

Of course NUFC have certainly contributed to the incident by their handling of it.

Instead of going into the Fulham match rested and happy there is more turmoil.

Lynda, don't worry. It has been confirmed that there was no punch-up which makes all of their misdemeanours seem quite trivial and Dyer won't be going anywhere until he's fit and played a few games which won't be for a couple of months at least. As for the players whingeing about having to go to Spain. If this is true, ooooh pity for them. You can only assume that the British players in practically every Premiership squad are furious because almost every Premiership squad is over there this week or next.

Besides which, the club hasn't said a single workd about Dyer: it's the papers that have made up stories and hung him out to dry, largely because he's an England hopeful with a past in the porno industry.

He may not have been fined yet, Dan, I'd have thought fining would have involved holding back part of a player's wages rather than asking him to write out a cheque.

I've heard that Dyer's infamous video is available for viewing on the net actually. Not that I'VE seen it NOR would I look for it but others might!

(I can't think of anything to worse to watch actually.........well maybe Deadly Doug and the lap dancers if it was ever made into a vid might be a bit horrific)
