These are not my words. It was an email I received today. I thought the experiments were fascinating, and the conclusions interesting, so I brought it here to share with you.

HEALING HEARTS/HEALING NATIONS: THE SCIENCE OF PEACE AND THE POWER OF PRAYER

BY NOW, I suppose you are thinking about anthrax. If so, you will be happy to get the news I have from Gregg Braden, author of The Isaiah Effect and Awakening to the Zero Point. I attended one of his all-day intensives on Sunday Oct 14th and what I am going to tell you is only a SMALL portion of the information he covered.

The title of this program was Healing Hearts/Healing Nations: The Science of Peace and the Power of Prayer.

He started off discussing how in the past we lost huge amounts of information from ancient spiritual traditions (when the library at Alexandria burned we lost at least 532,000 documents), and that there may be information in those traditions which could help us understand some of the mysteries of science. To this end he reported on three very interesting experiments. Gregg Braden started off as a scientist and engineer, before he began pursuing these larger questions.

EXPERIMENT #1

The first experiment he reported was done by Dr.Vladimir Poponin, a quantum biologist. In this experiment, first a container was emptied (ie a vacuum was created within it), and then the only thing left in it were photons (particles of light).

They measured the distribution (ie the location) of the photons and found they were completely random inside the container. This was the expected result. Then some DNA was placed inside the container and the distribution (location) of the photons was remeasured. This time the photons were LINED UP in an ORDERED way and aligned with the DNA. In other words the physical DNA had an effect on the non-physical photons.

After that, the DNA was removed from the container, and the distribution of the photons was remeasured again. The photons REMAINED ORDERED and lined up where the DNA had been. What are the light particles connected to?

Gregg Braden says we are forced to accept the possibility that some NEW field of energy, a web of energy, is there and the DNA is communicating with the photons through this energy.

EXPERIMENT #2

These were experiments done by the military. Leukocytes (white blood cells) were collected for DNA from donors and placed into chambers so they could be measure electrical changes. In this experiment, the donor was placed in one room and subjected to "emotional stimulation" consisting of video clips, which generated different emotions in the donor.

The DNA was placed in a different room in the same building. Both the donor and his DNA were monitored and as the donor exhibited emotional peaks or valleys (measured by electrical responses), the DNA exhibited the IDENTICAL RESPONSES AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. There was no lag time, no transmission time. The DNA peaks and valleys EXACTLY MATCHED the peaks and valleys of the donor in time.

The military wanted to see how far away they could separate the donor from his DNA and still get this effect. They stopped testing after they separated the DNA and the donor by 50 miles and STILL had the SAME result. No lag time; no transmission time.

The DNA and the donor had the same identical responses in time. What can this mean?

Gregg Braden says it means that living cells communicate through a previously unrecognized form of energy. This energy is not affected by time and distance. This is a non-local form of energy, an energy that already exists everywhere, all the time.

EXPERIMENT #3

The third experiment was done by the Institute of Heart Math and the paper that was written about this was titled: Local and Non local Effects of Coherent Heart Frequencies on Conformational Changes of DNA. (Disregard the title! The info is incredible.)

This is the experiment that relates directly to the anthrax situation. In this experiment, some human placenta DNA (the most pristine form of DNA) was placed in a container from which they could measure changes in the DNA. Twenty-eight vials of DNA were given (one each) to 28 trained researchers. Each researcher had been trained how to generate and FEEL feelings, and they each had strong emotions.

What was discovered was that the DNA CHANGED ITS SHAPE according to the feelings of the researchers: 1. When the researchers FELT gratitude, love and appreciation, the DNA responded by RELAXING and the strands unwound. The length of the DNA became longer. 2. When the researchers FELT anger, fear, frustration, or stress, the DNA responded by TIGHTENING UP. It became shorter and SWITCHED OFF many of our DNA codes! If you've ever felt "shut down" by negative emotions, now you know why your body was equally shut down too. The shut down of the DNA codes was reversed and the codes were switched back on again when feelings of love, joy, gratitude and appreciation were felt by the researchers.

This experiment was later followed up by testing HIV positive patients. They discovered that feelings of love, gratitude and appreciation created 300,000 TIMES the RESISTANCE they had without those feelings. So here's the answer to what can help you stay well, no matter what dreadful virus or bacteria may be floating around. Stay in feelings of joy, love, gratitude and appreciation!

These emotional changes went beyond the effects of electro-magnetics. Individuals trained in deep love were able to change the shape of their DNA. Gregg Braden says this illustrates a new recognized form of energy that connects all of creation.

This energy appears to be a TIGHTLY WOVEN WEB that connects all matter. Essentially we're able to influence this web of creation through our VIBRATION.

SUMMARY:

What do the results of these experiments have to do with our present situation? This is the science behind how we can choose a timeline to stay safe, no matter what else is happening. As Gregg explains in The Isaiah Effect, basically time is not just linear (past, present and future), but it also has depth. The depth of time consists of all the possible prayers and timelines that could ever be prayed or exist. Essentially, all our prayers have already been answered. We just activate the one we're living through our FEELINGS. THIS is how we create our reality - by choosing it with our feelings. Our feelings are activating the timeline via the web of creation, which connects all of the energy and matter of the Universe.

Remember that the law of the Universe is that we attract what we focus on. If you are focused on fearing whatever may come, you are sending a strong message to the Universe to send you whatever you fear. Instead if you can get yourself into feelings of joy, love, appreciation or gratitude, and focus on bringing more of that into your life, you are going to avoid the negative stuff automatically.

You will be choosing a different TIMELINE with your feelings.

You can prevent getting anthrax or any other flu, virus, etc, by staying in these positive feelings, which maintains an incredibly strong immune system.

So here's your protection for whatever comes: Find something to be happy about every day, and every hour if possible, moment-to-moment, even if only for a few minutes. This is the easiest and best protection you can have. If nothing else, be joyous that the criminals have "already been caught" by the Universe!

YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!. I need to know more about these studies. This is the sort of thing that really needs to be NOTICED. Thank you so much for sharing Joy. I have never seen this particular material, but it most certainly would appear to support much that I have believed for quite some time.

This is the stuff I absolutely know is true; I see it everywhere in the people I come in contact with. Everything is about ENERGY, and we create ALL of our own reality.

Like Louise Hays says, flu epidemics and plagues are caused by mass hysteria, but sadly most people refuse to believe that they are responsible for their own lives, and consquently never realize the power they have within.

Peace,

I, too believe that we create the world that we live in and sometimes we don't do a very good job. Too many times we rely on others to make us happy. Others cannot make us happy, WE have to make our own happiness. Be miserable and negative and you shorten your life. When I was younger it seems I was always hostile. Could be that that's because I was in the military. Years ago I read a book by Silva (I believe) and it had to do with our thinking and how it affected us and our surroundings. It took me a year or more to get to where I wanted to get, following the instructions in the book, in my meditation. The first time I got there, I heard a voice. Shook me so much that I quit for a while. Then I went back and there was that voice again. I quit for good! They're a lot of people in padded cells because they heard voices. But the point is that there's more out here and there than we're aware of and the stuff we don't know affects our lives and others. I now worry about nothing if there's nothing I can do to change it. Waste of energy. Hey, that's about as serious as I get.

Thanks for such an interesting post!

I personally think that we create our reality as an interactive action in *conjunction* with the Godhead. I don't have a study, just a revelation that was provided to me while in the Teton mountains one summer. I mean revelation as "revealed." Profound, etc. Maybe just my little personal one...

Anyway, in my late night wakings, I sometimes listen to Coast to Coast (Art Bell.) The guy is so out there, that I often switch to BBC to listen to soccer scores instead...ahem. However, I caught the gist of some study done at (?) Princeton, using random number generating machinery. Apparently, this random number generation is predictably (you guessed it) random, unless there is unusual mental/psychic energy being generated in great "quantity." Supposedly, early on 9/11, the needles started to jump all over the place in anticipation of something. As another experiment, Art requested all his listeners to pray for healing for Rush Limbaugh (hey, I'm not setting up the experiences) and b/c of all the energy (he does have a huge following), supposedly the randomness of the numbers was again mightily compromised.

Anyone hear of this or have info regarding?

As far as the power of prayer, well. I don't even know how to answer that question! But I sure do it. I think I'm supposed to do it ceaselessly, but that would rather be like having bees live in my head. But I do, frequently.

btw, every night before I used to go to sleep (post prayers) I would review my entire day (as if I was fast-forwarding a movie) and recall the best part of it and acknowledge it. It was a sweet thing to do. I think I'll try doing it again (got out of the habit.) Based on this thread, it seems like a really good idea!

"rather like having bees living in my head".......so funny, sheepish!!

By the way, I didnt know Rush was still around...getting the vapors again....tell me, was he healed? And what exactly about him were they healing? His mind, or his heart?

Peace,

Now Folks help me out with this, if this stuff is true then what I want to know is, hows come everything that I worry about doesn't happen , so's that I start thinking that I have to worry about something so that it won't happen.

And then the bad things that do happen are things that I never even worried about happening.! Which makes me think that I should have thought about them and worried about them so that they wouldn't have happened!

Earthmama, Rush L. is/was/has losing/lost his hearing. No comment about the other part (I'm trying to be charitable.)

-- Anonymous, November 07, 2001

I'm not feeling as charitable as Sheepish. I doubt if he'll miss his hearing 'cause he didn't use it for listening anyway!

-- Anonymous, November 07, 2001

Tren, maybe the point is not precisely WHAT you are worrying about, but that you are worrying at all. I'm not ignoring that we all have our momentary worry moments ....ha......but remember the theory that everything we do is either from love or from fear? If we spend a good part of our energy worrying about bad things happening to us and ours, I think we are operating from a fear perspective, and I guess I believe we will attract that kind of energy back to us, whether it appears as we had envisioned it or in another form.

On the other hand, if we operate from a perspective of love, that is trusting that the Universe will always care for us, that everything happens as it should, then we can learn to relax, knowing that not only do we have nothing to fear, but that nurturing fear would bring about fearful things to our lives.

As to your question "how come the things I worry about never happen", maybe Someone is trying to tell you something there, dear? :)

I posted Joys post on the www.religioustolerance.org board. Ya'll might be interested in seeing the discussion.

BTW EM. Maybe Trens worrying is preventing the "bad" stuff from happening? (just a tease!)

I saw an ad last night that this program is going to be presented here in Indianapolis on Dec. 2nd. I have class that day otherwise I might consider going and checking it out.

Religioustolerance.org has good intentions, but their esasy on Celtic Druidism sucks rocks IMO. One of the books they use as a reference is a laughingstock in the Druidic community. But I digress.... :)

One thing really bugs me about the third study. Having your DNA relax and uncoil is a bad thing, not a good thing. DNA needs to be coiled and supercoiled in order to function properly. Linear DNA does not work and is prone to all sorts of mutations. I also wonder why they consider placental DNA to be the most pristine. The human placenta is a unique organ because it acts as the interface between two different immune systems (mother and baby). It's not very representative of how a normal human immune system works.

There is an entire branch of science that studies the effects of emotions on the immune system, it's called psychoneuroimmunology. I agree that your state of mind does affect your immune system, I just don't see how the relaxed DNA plays into it.

Remember, this is just someone's subjective report of a seminar. I'm sure it's lost something in the "translation". I just thought it was interesting. Might inspire someone to research for more info . . .

I didn't think about the fact that DNA is supposed to be coiled. However, is there a point where it's coiled too much? If you twist something too far, you get kinks. Doesn't that apply to DNA? What about the codes shutting off? That sounds like a bad thing, but is it? Not arguing with you, Sherri, just wondering. I don't know enough about it to argue! ;-)

I went over to Religious Tolerance, John, and posted what I know (little) about the origin of this post . . . .

Hey Sherri: You might wanna look into "correcting" OCRT's take on Celtic Druidism if the info they have is so misleading. They solicit well written stuff to show opposing viewpoints etc.

-- Anonymous, November 08, 2001

Thanks Joy for stopping in at OCRT.

I wrote the following to someone who welcomed you there and would like to call Sherris attention to it also.

Bear in mind this is coming from a non-scientist so just call it speculative pseudo-science for lack of a better term.

I'm addressing your comments about the DNA "unravelling" in response to emotional stimuli.

The DNA molecule with the double helix looks very similar to the caduses symbol (a double helix) and the caduses, I believe, is a stylized symbol of the Kundalini. Kundalini is believed to be the energy of creation and when aroused from its slumber in the earth chakra ascends the spinal column in one of three paths, thus the potential for a double helix.

Actually it seems reasonable and likely that Kundalini is associated with creation because it is located between the anus and the genitals and it is associated with sexuality.

It manifests itself in a variety of ways and one of them is electricity.

I've read a long time ago some speculation that the Kabbalistic tree of life was also related to the dna molecule and I too see several similarities between the two systems---Kabbalistic and the chakra system.

Emotion is related to the "Fire" or passion element of creation. DNA I've read is "unstable" when it is unwound and is subject to mutation or "reprogramming" at that time. Emotions I believe are largely responsible for our conditioning and it makes some kinda sense to me that at such times during the "unravelling" that reprogramming would take place.

It is known scientifically that thot has some influence on subatomic interactions (re: The Tao of Physics et al) so theoretically the reprogramming can be influenced by intention and will.

Veerrrry interesting!!

WILdman, reading your post, Man, don't stop because you heard the voices! It doesn't mean you are going nuts! LIke you said, it means , you got there! Listen to the voices and what they have to say! When I have heard the voices they have always helped me, directed me, and given me advice, some I took and some I didn't.Hearing the voices when you meditate, is a BLESSINg! I get upset when I can't hear the voices, I can't imagine getting upset because I heard them! Hey it don't mean your nuts, Your meditating! I haven't put me in the nut house, not yet anyhows, and hey you only have to share what they tell you if you want to!

-- Anonymous, November 09, 2001

I agree with Tren, up to a point. Listen to the voices. You don't HAVE to do what they say. Many times, that voice is your own. Telling you things that you can't access when in your "mundane mind".

-- Anonymous, November 09, 2001

Sherri, I went and read their section on Druids. Since I know little about it, I couldn't see anything wrong with it, as an overview. So now my curiosity is really up. Without having to rewrite the whole thing here, can you tell me your main objections? We can do this privately, off the board, if you prefer. Or maybe there is a book that you want to direct me to?
