Hello everyone. I was on the board before it went private but I had to go out of town for a couple of months. When I got back, I was the only one here. Seems ya'll had left! I really got an unwanted feeling. But I found ya'll and Joy sent me a password so if you were trying to avoid me, blame her. I remember a lot of the names on here but some are new and even the old ones may not remember me. I'm the one that doesn't like to fuss, fight or argue. And even though I know everything (most of which I've forgotten), I don't know anything about goats, rabbits, cooking (except that I like the end results, most of the time) or sports or politics or religion. Boy, that makes me seem boring. No wonder ya'll moved the board when I left. One of the things I do like are run on sentences because I can't ever find the right place to put the little dots that go on top of each other.

I live in North Central AR. about 30 miles from MO. There's a wife that has been with me longer than she cares to remember ('cause she don't want to admit she's that old), and a daughter that's grown. Grown boy lives in CO. We have the obligatory dog, cat and chickens. Trying to hold everything except the chickens down to one and while I was out of town some animal tried to reduce the flock down to one for me though. It left me five. Guess he got tired of chicken everyday.

For those that don't know me, don't remember me or don't care, I do Catstrophic Insurance Adjusting for various insurance companies. I only get to work when an area is declared a National disaster area (storms) so I don't get to work often. Really, really, really need to work more. Even in AR. they still expect to see the green stuff when you go to the store.

I don't post on many of the other forums because of the constant bickering, so I spend most of my time on Handyman forums, hopefully helping people solve their home repair problems.

By the way, I'm glad to be back.

Well JackD...welcome back!!! This is a really nice "quiet" bunch and I'm sure we all don't like to fuss, fight or argue either :-)!! Hey, I have a husband also that's been with me longer than he cares to admit...probably for the same reason as your wife! Anyways, good to have some "fresh blood" here!

Well, Jack or Wildman, welcome back. There are LOTS of people who have the password, but I can't tell if they're even reading the forum anymore, because about 2/3 don't post! YES, that IS a blatant hint! So be gabby, post lots, come often!

I hope that with the colder weather and eventually, snow, closing in, more people will return to participating in the forum . . . .

Thanks everyone but enough gushing. Time to move on to interesting topics. Joy, intentionally or not, reminded me that there's going to be another Jack on the fourm so I've decided to avoid confusion and go back to Wildman. He and JackD are really close so ya'll probably won't notice any difference in their personalities. Neither one have one.
