OK guys, in a few weeks it will be Thanksgiving!! Just for fun, I'm inviting you all over for an old-fashioned, down-home, home-cooked Thanksgiving Feast!! I'll be roasting up some nice, plump, juicy turkeys! (organically raised by a good friend and neighbor!!!) I'll provide the turkey and the plates, but I'm a tightwad you know, so you all have to bring a covered dish!!!!! RSVP with the number of people coming, and what you will add to our "little" dinner!! What to bring, you ask??? Well if anyone ever asks me, I just say to bring your "specialty"!!!! Have fun!!!

Our family favourite is Shoo-Fly Pie. I served this the last two Canadian Thanksgiving feasts we had; the Canadians had never heard of it and enjoyed it quite well.

I'll bring our homegrown Silver Queen corn on the cob - yummy. Also, our family specialty, Hot Fudge pudding, or known in our family as Heartburn Special. It's very chocolately! You'll love it!

Deena, is your hot fudge pudding cakey with a hot fudge sauce? We made that for my sister's birthday one year and the candles melted before she could blow them out!

I'll bring the pumpkin pie and the collard greens one of my specialties and maybe a lemonade pie I have been making since I was knee high to a chicken. For snack maybe some of my delectible hot cheese dip my mom likes.

Yes, the hot fudge pudding is cake-like with a chocolate sauce that sinks to the bottom as it bakes. It is wonderful for those of us that like chocolate! That's funny about the birthday candles!
