Are black jeans cool or geeky now? I have a perfectly good pair that I never wear, because I never see ANYone wearing them anymore. Have they gone the way of acid-washed, ripped-at-the-knee jeans, or what?

Will people laugh? Will you laugh? Am I over-analyzing this too much?

I say wear your black jeans in good health, unless they have zippers at the ankle and little denim bows, or if they're pleated, or styled like harem pants. If they have any of those ugly features, then I'd only wear them for tuning up the car or gardening.

Disclaimer: I'm not too ashamed to admit that I once owned and wore harem pant jeans. They were really stupid looking but they were damned comfortable and suitable for a very long plane trip. Plus, it was the 1

I wear black jeans, but I'm not really extremely cool. And now that you mention it, I have noticed fewer people wearing them.

George at ANPO wears them, but only super faded ones splotched with paint.

I swear... I am the worst topic-killer. I was thinking "I'd better not answer this thread because I always kill topics..." but then I thought it'd be rude not to answer, but then I did and I killed it, just like I knew in my heart that I would.
