I got a dinky Samsung A300 - quite cool with some nice features, but I'm not impressed with BT Cellnet's tarrifs. Comes with an extra 'slimline' battery too.

Well I'll take it seriously Gav... heard v good things about the T68. I'd look at it mesell but I'm a Nokia fan - they're all pretty much the same, I understand the menus and how to use the things, and therefore don't need to waste a week before I can use a new one. The more adventurous of the lads have gone for a Sven gordon or Siemens and seem happy enough.

Ericsson = Sweden = Sven-Goran Eriksson

He will NOT be pleased if you use Nokia, ok!

Gav, I take it seriously too. I have a Nokia 5110, can I have your Nokia when you get a new one?

The T68 looks very similar to a nokia in some respects...IE, Ericsson have finally gone for a larger screen and similar key layout to the nokia's....

I'm quite happy with my 8310 at the minute, the FM radio on it means i'll be the sad person listening to the half time scores during the match....i've not managed to get the GPRS Wap set up on it though (orange contract so i don't know if they even support it!)...got the old wap working on it ok though....

Oh and it doubles as a handy night time torch!

What colour is your anorak Gav?

With the chance of getting a new phone, I must defend my esteemed friend Gav.

He does not own an anorak, however he has a nice line in pocket protectors.......

Look you lot....how can I keep my tag of SMS king without the latest phone to use? ;))

I'll remember who scoffed when i'm listening to my phone/radio at the match next and someone wants to know a score.....MUHAHAHA ;))

I used to use a Nokia 8850(the small metal jobbie) but it had sh1t reception and a poor battery life. It looked good, but that was about it. A the moment I've also got one of those samsung A300 jobbies. It was less than half the price of the 8850 and is twice as good. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has an ariel that sticks out a mile.

You'll have to wait a while then - Gav doesn't get to many games thesedays...

;-))

fully recovered!

See Gav - if you exchanged your phone you wouldn't be able to recieve those great texts ;-)

Do these vibrating phones work if you keep them in your pocket and keep phooning yourself up?

Mick - don't mind the aerial, but I'm not over enamoured with the predictive text feature for text messaging. Nokia is much better for that. And the WAP email is a pain to use. But the group ID graphics are quite cool, and it looks good :-)
