Nikon N65 kit with Tamron Lenses

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread

I'm considering buying a Nikon N65 kit that comes with two Tamron lenses: --AF Mount Tamron 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 --AF Mount Tamron 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Lens

I'm a beginner photographer. I was reading in the instruction booklet for the N65 that I got from a friend. Will the shutter priority mode (S) and other special modes only work with Nikon branded lenses? I keep reading all of these references to "CPU Nikkor" lenses in the manual. Are these Tamron lenses "CPU Nikkors"? Thanks for your comments.

I have a Nikon F60 with two Tamron lenses: 28-80 and the 28-300.

All the features on your camera will work fine with the Tamron lenses.
