Is anyone else feeling a sort of ill-defined anticipation as if something big was going to happen? I don't know whether it's just all the transfer rumours and requests or what, but every time I pick up a paper, I expect to read that we have bought someone or sold someone.

Twice in my football supporting career I'v efelt the same. Everyday I knew that the club would sack Jim Smith, I kept phning clubcall for confirmation, this went on for months.

Similar feeling with Kenny but didn't halp BT profits as much finding out.

It's bizarre but there just seems to be an undercurrent at the club at the moment. MacB, a week before we sacked Kenny, I woke up and thought "Oh, bollix, it's gonna be Gullit". One of the few premonitions I've had that has come true.
