Had a visitor yesterday, a grey striped scratch cat, he/she ran under the porch and would not come out, a slice of spiced ham left out as an offering didn't last long. I phoned the neighbors, nobody is missing a cat, I am too far from the road for this cat to be a drop off, no sign of it this morning though.

Melissa, Unlike other people, I do not have a life. My personal mobility is medically limited, my income is about the same as an after school bag boy, and I have not a lot of options to work with, so if I can entertain or lighten everyones day a bit, then I have accomplished what I can't do on regular levels. I am honored by your actions; and not to worry, I have 55,000 more questions available.

My second goal is to teach people how to recgonize exactily what another person means when they are communicating. This steril medium of words only, without body language or facial expressions, is the hardest but also the best place to accomplish this. Basic communications or the lack thereof is the prime failure factor in marriages, relationships, parent-child situtations, all interactions.

I often say in the stumper, to go back and reread the original post as I see peoples attention wander away from the subject of the post; this is the same way I feel when I ask a question and see the other persons attention wander away from my question. Yes, we all see the world from a view point of being at the center of the universe; what we have got learn is to share that center during communication.

I would say the day after thanksgiving sales when all the maniacs are out pushing and shoving trying to get a bargain but I will probably have to go with just because its today which probably isn't right either, HALLOWEEN.

Okay, we (my older boys and I) are trying to do this connected thinking thing. Is the answer TODAY? It is halloween ("scary"), the day's not over yet ("will happen"), and it's the full moon (the moon is letting "it all hang out"?). How often does halloween have a full moon? ("this year")

In that I was so flattered by being assigned my own thread I forgot to word the post with a connection word. I stated in my second post that there were no hints in the above, meaning MY above(s). Yes Cathy, New Years Day is correct, I have my theorys what are yours? Upon rereading, I did remember to put in the connection word in the first post its "year". And in the third post it was "change over"; often when others are speaking to you they will use a group of persusavise, parallel words. The inflection of the word will change, or there will be a pause, or a change of verbal cadence that the speaker does not realize they are doing. Training yourself to spot these changes allows you to better understand what is being said.

Mitch, I caught the "year" and the "change over". My guess was New Year's EVE, because of the drunkeness and general out-of-control spirit of the occasion. I would not want to be on the streets of any city at that time.
