Ballet Dancer Escape Attempt Foiled: "The suspect, Ganzorig Buyantogtokh, 25, is a former Pittsburgh [PA] Ballet Theatre dancer who was arrested in September for allegedly raping and assaulting his girlfriend. His attempted escape happened just before noon Monday as two county jail guards were transporting the inmate downtown from a medical facility in Bethel Park, Pa.

"...the prisoner managed to obtain a small pair of scissors from inside the ambulance and attempted to escape by grabbing the female officer from the rear and placing the scissors near her eye. In an attempt to disarm the prisoner, Lightfoot said that a scuffle ensued between the officers and the prisoner. The prisoner had to be treated for minor injuries."

It's a good thing they caught him before he got loose. No cop wants to light the Bat-Signal for the guy who made his getaway on tip-toe.
