Oh God.

D@mn! Wouldn't they know right away if it were the right van? There was enough information circulated about it.

How far away would these woods be?

I can't get into TB2K to post this info, so I posted it on RAL's board. If anyone else can get in, please post it. I have to leave soon.

Trumball Co., as I recall is where the city of Warren is located. I think that's within an hour's drive of Leetonia (or less). Both are near the OH-PA border.

Please check on TB2K... there are those who post there who need this info.

THANKS

This is what I know...his van was found tonight at about 6 or a little after..Cops called my aunts to the station... it was found in a secluded wooded area in Trumbull county. Like it was hidden on purpose. no sign of my father. they have blood hounds and the criminal investigators and the search and rescue teams. I got the call about 6:45 or so.

If I was a man, I'd be there searching...if I was a stronger person,,I'd be there searching... if.....if....if....

I must remind myself there IS that slim possiblity he may be alive.

I can feel you all with me in spirit....

i am thinking since nothing is found after this long, they may wait and continue tomorrow. I don't know how this works. it is already sprinking here.

I feel like I am watching a movie and it is actors playing parts.

SAR, you can only do what you can do. Please don't be so hard on yourself. What will be, will be. It is the unknowing and lack of control right now. Perhaps a centering will help you put things in perspective, if you are even able to do that now. I hear you saying you feel helpless to act. Me too, from so far away. Know that all our prayers are with you and yours, and we are praying for his safety as well as yours dear friend. May the new light of day bring you a new perspective, and find your dad in your loving arms soon.

Article about Joe. Update post cross-posted from IC -- Meemur From SAR:

I just got word.....that the van was hidden in the far back corner of a muddy cornfield, his keys are missing..(with the house key on it) so the locks were changed this morning . Looks like it was driven in on solid ground, butnow there is mud it has sank into....need 4- wheelers to get it out.

his shoes (full of mud) were found in the van, along with his LST navy jackey.(also muddy) the investigators are sampleing mud to see if the mud from the shoes can from the same area.

There is a major piece of evidence but I can't say right now...but points to premeditation.

I need to tell you all, that your prayers are very much still needed...we (the family) get upset, and then we feel the wave of instant calmness...we all believe it is yours prayers holding us up.

thank you again.
