an EXPERT´s needed

Hi friens all; yesterday we went to a Claude Boling Big Band concert, it was great, of course I took my M3 and 90/2 to make some shoots.

Here I go with my peculiar experience; because of asa 100 color film I had to support againt some pilar in the theater, and I had to put my M3 up side down to make some shoots, I wind it upside down too a couple of times when the winding mecanism got obstructed, I move the rewind lever tring to free it and nothing, try moving the speed dial and it was unusual hard to move, then put a little more presure in winding level and got to unobstructed it, I went again up side down and the same, I got out of it the same way, I did it several times, now M3 is working as normal and I´m up to recive film from lab, but I´m quite confident it is going to be fine, this problem I have had before, several years ago, but since this body went to Leica NJ I had thougth problem had disapiared, now I know it is still there. M3 body number 1058585 (nice number isn´t it?); please experts out there coments are wellcome.

Just got film back from lab, every thing´s OK, spaces betwen frames are regular and every thing´s normal, at least in the pictures.

I wonder if somehow the takeup spool jammed up being wound upside down?

The wind mechanism should not jam regardless of how the camera is orientated. Get it repaired before major damage happens.

Thank´s Andrew and John, I think your opinions are about the best that I could do.

I´´ve been watching how this body works, and if does fire well, but winding is a problem up side down and pointing camera to floor, pointing camera to ceiling makes no problem, and after test it for several shoots problem become smaller, now I can do it any how bot with a little bump at the begining of wind, I´ll use it some more and see what happen, I always thougth that Leica NJ had put some pices that were not designed for this model, like M6 gears or something like that, any way waranty is far over now. Next time I´ll think in Mrs. Krauter or Leica in Canada. Thank´s for your kind answers.
