greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi all, I have a problem with Nero 5.5.4.0. When I have encoded etc. the avi files (which takes forever), and I try to burn it, it says "disc is full" and I have a brand new empty disc!! Where does the Nero put the file it has encoded (to Temp-file??)and why do I get this error-message?? The file is only 20 minutes long, 19 MB.And it says disc is full RIGHT AFTER I have hit the burn-button.????Heeeeeelp!!!!!

nero trys to cache a certain part of the .avi image onto your hard drive will its burning to your cd-r, so it could be that your hard drive is full, and not the cd-r; choose a smaller cache size in settings, or no cache, make sure you choose Diskatonce, not track at once, or try a new cd-r. you can choose where to put the temp file in nero settings.. search for a .nrg file on your hard drive, it could be it (monitor date/time).

good luck
