Three of my fuzzy buddies are grazing whats left of the grass, two nibbling, the third on watch ready to raise that wide white tail in alarm. The squrriels are still in hiding, they come out at about 10:00 when its warm enough to move more freely. Enough; do the puzzle....

I would guess (1)"sour" as in way too old milk. THen perhaps... (2) smoke... can smell that across the field... then maybe.... (3)rain? People says it smells like rain... right? If I mentioned the dirty diapers then you can not smell anything after that for a good couple of hours, since your nose shuts down in protest. :o)

Readers, please focus on the exact question. Rain, smoke, skunk, wet beds are not common household items. The hint before the question should be taken into account also. What I am trying to teach here, via these stumpers is connected thinking, a trait common to the Mensa crowd. Connected thinking is the self taught ability to perceve another persons orentiation at the time they ask a question. Having this ability allows more efficiant and understood comunication. One odor has been mentioned, I am going shopping, be back this afternoon.

Ahhhh, come on Mitch!! I smell smoke in my house everyday! Especially when the kids forget to open the damper when they are building a fire and the entire house fills with smoke, 10 minutes before company is supposed to arrive (Thanks Kadia!). I guess my pine answer isn't right either!!!

If it has to do with stuffy noses, my first guess would be Vicks Vapo- rub. Second would be Lysol. Third is Chicken Soup. That is what we could smell during cold and flu season growing up!

O.K. Kids, what does this post and the last two have as a common theme?
