Hi altogether,

I'm looking for a cheap place to service lenses and bodies here in Germany (or close) - and prices which I have to expect to pay for a CLA of either body (M2) and lenses (Elmar SM / Summar SM). I didn't pay much for these items, so I don't want to send them to Solms and paying more than they cost me.

--don't be shocked by the brand name you'll see on their website--seems a decent place, especially as you can bring and fetch your gear yourself. (I've concluded you're in Munich from your previous posts. My apologies if I'm wrong!) Their turnaround time seems fabulous... I'd recommend using public transportation as traffic in Schellingstrasse reminds me of Rome.

Hi Oliver,

I phoned them yesterday - they said that they would also repair Leica stuff, but not within the 24h - service (only for Nikon). There is also another guy in the Landwehrstr., which does similar things like that. Has anyone ideas about prices ?

The name of the guy in the Landwehrstrasse is "Wiener". I was told he is much cheaper than Dostal and he does a good job on old mechanical Leicas. I have no personal experience yet. See: www.diemuenchner.de/foto_werkstatt_wiener
