This is the girl I shot in the studio, and this was the reason I got her into the studio. However, she showed up without the braids and with this huge grin I couldn't get off her face no matter what I did. So I'm left with only this coming close to what I wanted, and am stuck with the distracting elements.

Really, let's go to San Jaun sometime...so much great stuff to photograph on the side streets, and then hit Monterey Wharf...really weird tourists! Lots of "people potential!" I'll treat for lunch.

I like the braid but it's just not "Me!"

To me...interesting...in looking at our photos tonight...I go for symmetry and balance and you go for frenzy and chaos (ment in a positive way)...we are so totally different! Again, I think it would be a blast to photograph together since we live so near each other and are so different in our approach to our subjects. Talk about opposites!
