What battery or batteries does the Leica Minilux zoom use?

I have one on order and want to have the correct battery or batteries waiting for its arrival. Thanks

Also, where could I buy a case for a Minilux zoom? New or used.

Hallo Mike,

donŽt worry. All the LEICA p/s cameras I got so far came with a set of batteries. Yours, if new from the dealer, will also have one.

I would recommend the original leather pouch from LEICA AG. I donŽt think they are available s/h easily. Once they are on a camera they thick there unless they are sold, lost or stolen IŽam afraid.

I have recently bought a Minilux. The bateries are 3 volt Lithium Batteries such as Duracell DL 123A Kodak K 123 LA Panasonic CR123A Varta CR123A

Cases can be ordered through a dealer. I was told by an authorized Leica dealer that the're the only manufacturer in the world to sell 100% real leather cases.
