They've done it again - Southern BBC bias

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Tonights BBC news - FA Barclaycard table - graphic had a great big gap at the bottom - only top 5 on the chart ?

Who's second ? Newcastle - oh miss them out they're way behind the champions elect.

Why weren't the 2 teams on 17 points included - us & Spurs ?

Obviously just paranoia Josh, after all, it must have been pure coincidence that we weren't included in BBC Radio 5's Friday slot where "the man who grew a moustache above his a**ehole" (thank you Shagspeare!) is supposed to preview all the EPL games, as was the fact that they talked to all the managers on Football Focus but somehow never got around to us and if you were to read anything into the fact that all the games got long reports on the news except ours which was dismissed as "the country's least predictable side being unpredictable again", you would surely go mad.

I noticed that as well Josh. We'll just have to win next week which should hopefull put is in the top 5.

I prefer us being low profile, it takes the pressure off the team, a bit like not being on Sky.

Spurs are the complete opposite, they have played one game more than us yet the media can't fit enough praise for them into their articles / shows. FFS they are below us and we have a game in hand but nothing about us, just well, er, yeah they were, erm, lucky or something.

I waited for the "Premiership" in the early hours of Sunday, saw up until the adverts (1st half of the black pussys versus hairy arse) then fell asleep, waking at about 5am on the couch, isn't it getting cold? Anyway, did we get a mention this week?
