Anyone here a big games player? I play Champ 0102 as much as anyone but I'm getting in to playing games online - Operation Flashpoint, Delta Force etc.

Anyone else play these or is a big online games player?

I sure do. I play CM 01/02 but Im now REALLY pissed because the game has bugged out for the third time and I have to start all over again.

I play some Counter-Strike, Quake III and Starcraft. Right now Im practising FIFA2001 because there is a competition in November where you can win a trip to a huge tournament in Korea. I dont care about the tournament in Korea but would be nice to visit Asia for the first time. The best thing is that no one knows about the qualifier here in Sweden hehe.

I also play CS but have been getting massive problems. I can install Half Life and then patch that and then install CS and patch that. It works first time no problem but then when I go in to it on maybe the 3rd or 4th time it has lost all the custom games (firearms etc). This has happened on 2 computers so it isn't the computer.

How do you find the online games of CS? The server list is massive and that puts me off, what sort of game do you play/filters do you run?

Land warrior is latest. AT the moment they're by far the best online games.

I often have four filters checked. -Are responding -Are responding more quickly then 100 ms (so you get the servers with the lowsst ping) -Have people currently playing -Are running game cstrike

One tip is to make a favorite list so you dont have to update all the servers every time. Just right click on a server and Add to favorites. Then you can filter out just these servers.

Counterstrike is the only online game I play, but not as much as I used to. My clan are doing pretty well now and I'm a canny player, but certainly not the best.

Hardly play it now though, mainly because of bad pings.

Loads of people are playing all the time. With fixed servers so you don't have to join hosted games.
