God Billboards.......Have you seen them??greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread
Glad we're back up.
They're becoming a common sight down here in the bible belt. US 90, I-10 and I-95 have quite a few of them. Have you noticed them too?
Here's a few examples:
"Have you read my best seller?
(There will be a test.)
"Exactly what part of 'Thou shalt not...'
(Did you not understand.)?
"Open house at my place this Sunday"
(You know the place.)
There are a few others.......I'm not sure what to think of it.

We had one here for a short time that said:
I have created the Window on the World
It had a picture of you know who with a giant lightening bolt on the top. It was removed. :))) My guess is that it wasn't loved in Redmond.

Z, do you live in and around Redmond Oregon? I have a son that lives in Madras and works in Redmond.

"Looking for virgin females. Am running short"

Saw another this morning on the way to work.
"I can think of 10 things that ARE carved in stone."
That one kinda tickled me....

"Pay no attention to me. I'm old and cranky"

Nope; I was talking about the Redmond on 520 just beyond Bellevue. I don't live in either, although, I have spent a lot of time in traffic jams on 520. But suprise, I have been to Redmond, Oregon. Not too far from Bend as I remember [without looking at a map, which I probably can't find anyway :<))]. Near the Three Sisters.
