I've recently come across a LEICA DPB M4-1208699 with Summaron F= 3.5 CM. lens. Has anyone any knowledge of this particular model? Is there a market for it, and what would be a fair market price?

Daniel, Nothing ununusual based on your description. It was made in the 1968/69 period. What determines value is finish, i.e. black chrome, paint or bright chrome and of course, CONDITION

Daniel, I should have also mentioned that there is an excellent article about M4's in the currednt edition of the Leica Historical Society's "Viewfinder".
