It's my dad's birthday!

And I'm not going to DC today as the office buildings are all shut down, and stuff.

Happy Birthday Mr. Bob!

T - I got my save the date. Very lovely.

As well as my You Will Know Us By Our Burberry Resist the Anthrax tissues.

(and why do i feel like i misspelled burberry?)

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Ha! I wanted to enclose a note, "Use the Burberry to resist The Anthrax," but I didn't think I'd put the word "anthrax" in anything I sent through the mail.

Well, I knew you were thinking it.

I think I'm going to stay at the Hampton. It's the cheapest and it's close to the church and your mom's house. That seems to make more sense. (What street is it on again?) And it's not like it's hard to get down to the Quarter when it's not MG, you know?

Hi!

On days, and still Anthrax Free! I hope.

The Hampton is right on St. Charles, across the street from the Columns. It's really nice, and it's convenient to everything. LIke bloody Mary's.

Mike! I got the swag! So lovely - thank you so much for the nice note, also.

You're welcome!

You know, Hannah, you'd get some swag too if you'd ... I dunno ... send me your new address so I knew where to send it.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Mike - I just sent it.

Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenspun!

I emailed all y'all about thirty minutes ago.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I never got it, T...I e-mailed you and it bounced, too.

Technology is brokenhearted this morning.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I sent yours to anchao@home.com... I think. I didn't get any bouncebacks, though. Technology is letting us down this morning.

that's why, then--i can't check that from here. will y'all cc: me at anna@annachao.com?

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Ah. Sorry - also, make sure to mail me at the yahoo address - when I try to reply to hotmail emails, my computer crashes.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I got it T -- thanks!

Greenspun, OTOH ... nothing but misery for my computer today.

Thanks, Mike.

I'm leaving the office in a little bit for a meeting, but I hope I'm back by four. I'll be in touch if I her anything else. AB, were you able to find out anything?

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Not really. I e-mailed your tgoestotown address.

I'm going to get some coffee.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I am back from lunch. Any news?

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Did y'all get Sonya's email? I guess Al didn't know that Chris had called T. Maybe?

I wish I could go

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I do too, H.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

So do I.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I wonder is Sonya has the Lowes' B'ham address?

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Can you send flowers to the home? I think you're supposed to send them to the funeral home, or wherever the service is being held.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I'm sure she's got the address.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

I have their home address, but the impression I get from the florists is that you send it to the funeral home - that way, the family doesn't have to worry about transporting anything.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

Is the home one on burntleaf?

Yeah, from what I can remember you send flowers to the funeral home. But I'd like to send something to the house too.

-- Anonymous, October 23, 2001

The home is 3575 Burntleaf Lane, B'Ham, 35226.

If I go over there, I'm definitely going to bring something frozen, as Southerners are often wont to do.
