Portage Glacier, Alaska

We're at the Portage Glacier Oservation area of the visitor's center, and that's my dad intensely examining the informational display. In the background is Portage Lake with a small ice "berglet" being a bus-sized hunk of the glacier that calves off and floats around.

Rats! OFF with the bold.

I just love this shot. Everything about it. It looks as though the man is looing at a photograph/painting of the view just outside the window. Really great work.

I say, OFF with you, OFF with Bold!

I too like it a lot, but I would prefer to get the horizonatals and verticals exactly parallel to the frame. As it is, the tilt detracts from the strong impression of a confining geomety and there is a fight going on between the frame and its contents.
