PRODUCT WARNING AND RECALL NOTICE Olin Corporation, through its Winchester Division, is recalling five (5) lots of its WILDCAT® 22 Long Rifle High Velocity Rimfire ammunition (Symbol Number WW22LR).

Lot Numbers: 3RA42L, 1RH71L, 1RH81L, 2RH81L, and 3RH81L Through extensive evaluation Winchester has determined the above five (5) lots of WILDCAT® 22 ammunition may contain double powder charges. Double powder charge weight ammunition may cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable, and subject the shooter to a risk of personal injury when fired.

DO NOT USE WINCHESTER® WILDCAT® 22 LONG RIFLE HIGH VELOCITY RIMFIRE AMMUNITION THAT HAS LOT NUMBERS 3RA42L, 1RH71L, 1RH81L, 2RH81L, OR 3RH81L. The ammunition Lot Number is imprinted (stamped without ink) on the outside of the right tuck flap of the 50-round box, as indicated here:

To determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the Lot Number. If it contains Lot Numbers 3RA42L, 1RH71L, 1RH81L, 2RH81L, or 3RH81L, return the ammunition to Winchester via United Parcel Service (UPS). Securely pack the ammunition into a corrugated cardboard box, write "CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS ORM-D" on the outside, and ship to:

ANSWER: No. For Symbol Number WW22LR only five lots - Numbers 3RA42L, 1RH71L, 1RH81L, 2RH81L, and 3RH81L - are being recalled. No other Symbol Numbers or Lot Numbers are subject to this recall.

HOW DO I SEND MY AMMUNITION BACK TO WINCHESTER?

ANSWER: Do not return via the US Postal Service. Securely pack the ammunition into a corrugated cardboard box, write "CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS ORM-D" on the outside, and ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) to the following address:

WHERE IS THE LOT NUMBER?

ANSWER: On 50-round boxes the Lot Number is imprinted (stamped without ink) on the outside of the right tuck flap, on the white glossy surface above the bar code. To make the Lot Number easier to read lightly rub a pencil lead, or swipe a colored highlighter or marker, across the area. The Lot Number is not printed on 500-round "brick" cartons. On 5000-round corrugated cardboard cases the Lot Number has been ink stamped on one end in the top left corner.
