How Sweet It Is!

This season we have been up and down, but today we showed the true Viking colors in a 35-13 domination of the Green Bay Pukers.

The Cheeseheads came into our house and disrespected our D right off the bat. With the ball on our 7-yard line and a 4th and 2 they decided to go for it. We stuffed them and that was it. I would like to thank the Packers for lighting that fire under our ass that may have turned our season around. From that point on our D was awesome and our offense rolled.

The D even got on the score board with a 27 yard interception return by Wong. Wong played Favre perfectly and stepped in front of the pass and trotted into the endzone.

Culpepper moved the ball effectively and the running game came alive behind a huge effort from Doug Chapman. Chapman had the best rushing performance of the season and may have earned the starting job even when Bennett makes it back.

This was a great game not only because of the win, but more importantly because it was over the Packers! The Vikings are alive! SKOL VIKES!

It was a very nice win but the BIG game is Sunday at Tampa. If we can go into the bye 4-3 we will be in good shape. GO VIKES!!!!
