I used Whie Vinegar to clean my shower head and it worked great! I used a plastic cup you get from a 7-11 Store when you buy soda, filled it half way with the White Vinegar placed the shower head in it and let it soak all day. When I pulled it out of the Vinegar I scrubbed it with an old tooth brush to remove all the crud. I had tried Bleach and Oxy-Clean but the Vinegar worked the best.

I use it to remove hard water scale. I heat it up and pour it in the dog and cats water dishes and on the dish drainer in the kitchen sink. It works best hot. Also to clean the automatic coffee maker and as a last rinse in the clothes washer. If I think of any more I post again.

I poured it all over my dog when he got sprayed by a skunk a few weeks ago. I rinsed with vinegar, washed with soap and water, rinsed with water, then repeated. The dog smelled pretty much like a dog after that. Unfortunately he got past me into the house right after he was sprayed so it took awhile to get the rest of the house smelling normal...

I read somewhere to use it in the Downy ball for the rinse cycle and it seems to be working well. Also works in the rinse cycle in the dishwasher. Put some in your waterbath canner while canning, your jars won't have that film that they do sometimes.

A cider vinegar and water rinse after washing ones hair can do wonders for an itchy flakey scalp without having to resort to toxic and expensive treatments.
