What no weekend thread?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
Ok I'll start one offGet up - play football wearing my spanking new Reebok boots that my girlfriend bought for my birthday last Wednesday. Clash knees with the defender after 7 minutes and hobble off.
Spend the afternoon in hospital (not the pub as planned) to discover I may have a ruptured anterior ligament in my knee (they don't know - joy). Spend the rest of the day at home in a half cast as opposed to going out for dinner with my girlfriend.
So what have you all got planned?

Mrs gus has left me. Off to Brisbane for a conference. Was going out for a few jars with some lads from work. Came down with a huge headache so ended up staying home. Watching a match on PPV what do they play? Bloody manure.

Weekend....trying to recover from the all-day GA camp-out yesterday followed by one of hte best U2 shows I've ever experienced. I've had 4hrs of sleep, thought not in as much pain as earlier now that the Vioxx has kicked in. Today will be spent in incoherence, a nap later on so I can stay awake to watch Paul McCartney's charity concert thingy tonight. Tomorrow....more recovery and hoping to be coherent enough to watch the MLS Cup final in the afternoon, after listening to our webcast in the morning.
